Nancy Clark-Chiarelli is Principal Research Scientist in Language, Literacy, and Early Learning at Educational Development Center in Massachusetts. Currently, Nancy is based in Manila, the Philippines as senior technical advisor to the Ministry of Education, working on project, Basa Pilipinas—or “Read Philippines” that aims to help thousands of early primary teachers use better literacy techniques in the classroom. She has more than 35 years of experience in the field of education as both a practitioner and researcher. Nancy has taught in many of Wheelock’s programmes in Singapore and in the 2014-15 academic year, will be teaching The Impact of Special Needs on Learning and Development: the Early Years  in the Master’s program
