Jason Teo, Deputy Head (Academic Management), Centre for Higher Education, SEED Institute, holds a Master of Arts (International and Developmental Economics) from Yale University, USA. He was awarded an MA scholarship by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) to pursue the Masters degree. Jason has over 15 years of work experience spanning across human resource, industrial relations, corporate development and administrative experience in banking, transport and education sectors. Prior to his current portfolio, he was lecturing in a polytechnic. As Deputy Head, Jason is responsible for the academic administration and management of SEED Institute’s joint programmes with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, UniSIM, Wheelock College and Deakin University. With his team of administrators, he administers programmes and conducts regular briefings with SEED faculty to ensure quality delivery of programmes in these higher institutions. Being the main liaison officer, he ensures strong partnership, network and engagement between SEED Institute and the institutions. Jason also lectures in leadership programmes for preschool leaders.
